Idols ‘Jo’burg’ finalist actually from PE
A Johannesburg singer said yesterday she was aiming to take the title for her home town – Port Elizabeth.
Although her Idols profile indicates that she is from Johannesburg, Funeka Peppeta said she was a Port Elizabeth girl and her roots were here.
Funeka won the hearts of the judges with her performance of Time of My Life and made it through to the final 14 of Idols 2010.
